Community Food Navigator Description
The Community Food Navigator App is an equitable hub for sharing knowledge in Chicago’s urban agriculture community. Designed by and for food growers, organizers, advocates, and all others working to build and sustain community-driven solutions to feed our communities. Our App is a protected space for you to connect, collaborate, and share information and resources with a focus on Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities.
The Navigator App provides a set of features to help the community build a robust and organic network of resources and relationships, including a main feed for sharing information, an Events calendar for tracking community events, a Directory map for marking important locations, a Library for sharing and organizing resources, and Group and Messaging features for easier communication and collaboration.
Whether you are a new grower, a long time organizer, or an advocate for food justice, the Navigator is built for you.
