Goal of the Game - In Cottage Garden, you compete in the art of gardening. Plant two Flowerbeds with different flowers. Score each Flowerbed when there are no more free spaces visible on it, then exchange it for a new, unplanted one. You receive points for all visible Flower Pots and Garden Cloches on the completed Flowerbed, and you may also receive Flower Pots and Cats that will help you
with your gardening.
The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.

Comments about Cottage Garden Android Version

Decent implementation but buggy. Very occasionally a cat piece will get "stuck" just barely off the cat space, even resetting your turn does not return it and you can't select another piece. It has soft locked the game for me before. Also the touch detection is very finicky, you have to touch just right or the piece you want will not begin moving. Finally, the scoring screen could use some help. It's hard to see which score piece is which and how far they will move when you click one.

The game is great. The controls are good. The tutorial is good, as the game reminds you of some things you may have forgotten while playing. The only problem is the AI sometimes takes forever to make its moves, even if it's move is incredibly obvious. And for some reason, the app seems to require an Internet connection even during solo games.

Very enjoyable and highly reccomended puzzler. Was hoping for a true solo mode, but against the AI is still satisfying. One small bit of feedback is that grabbing the pieces from the nursery is a little cumbersome on small screens because you must grab a portion of the actual piece as opposed to being able to grab it by pressing the space it occupies--but that may be a matter of taste. :)
