Osudy Krušnohoří Description
The Ore Mountains abound in considerable beauty and a rich history. But it is often hidden under the deposits of time or has been completely destroyed. The Osudy Krušnohoří application brings a varied palette of materials that will enrich your trips around the region or make your long time on the road by car or even at work more pleasant.
Radio:
The application includes more than 100 audio interviews with witnesses from the Ore Mountains, mostly in Czech and also in German. These people tell their engaging stories or events associated with specific places. You can listen to these conversations like a radio, i.e. autonomously in the background while driving or working. If you want to listen to the stories systematically by individual speaker, you can search for them on the website www.zkrusnohori.cz or on Spotify.
Photo couple:
Another feature of the application is photo couples. These allow you to see the landscape of the Ore Mountains a hundred years ago and today. There are currently over 100 photo pairs in the application, which you can browse interactively and enrich your discovery of our mountains.
Augmented Reality:
The third function is the AR and VR module, where stories and narratives in augmented and virtual reality will gradually increase. You will meet personalities, witnesses, enthusiasts. Or maybe even Marcebil, the ruler of the Ore Mountains, or other beings with whom you can take a photo or make a video together. Or sing a duet????
Tales:
The application also includes a part that connects you to the web memory portal www.zkrusnohori.cz, which replaced the long-standing and popular portal www.znkr.cz. Here you can view historical photos of the Krušnohoří villages on the Czech and Saxon sides. You can also play videos from Peter Mikšíček's YouTube channel. They are divided into Documentaries, Great Walks and Feature films. Everything from the Ore Mountains.
The last link is Audio, and this will take you to the subpages of the portal, where you can listen to the stories of the witnesses systematically and in their entirety.
