Gus Baha, whose real name is KH. Bahauddin Nursalim, has been educated in religious knowledge since his childhood, because his father, KH. Nursalim al-hafizh is a cleric from the Rembang area, Central Java, caretaker of the Al-Anwar Islamic boarding school which is now continued by Gus Baha. Gus Baha is the favorite student of Hadratus Shaykh Maimoen Zubair, who besides being a religious figure is also an Indonesian political figure.
