Every year, over 3,000 caravans roll in Malung. About 50,000 dance tickets are sold to dancing people of all varieties - curious beginners, pleasure dancers and experienced professionals from all over the Nordic region.
The dance band week is about dancing to popular music of the best dance bands and under the best conditions, that is, the best dance floors and the best dance bands in a pleasant environment. The entire Malung is transformed into a huge dance palace for a week. 82 dance bands on six dance tracks make people swing around in bug, foxtrot, swing, lindyhop and old-fashioned dance.
