The Living Quran is an accessible, especially readable, historical context offering and in a modern, melodious Dutch translation version of the Quran. This translation version is called 'De Levende Koran' to show both Muslims and non-Muslims in the Dutch-speaking region that the Koran proclaims a vibrant, topical message. It is never perfect; it remains only an attempt at a rendering of the original text. We express the hope that this contemporary translation version may reach many, may inspire reflection and remembrance.
