Comments about DemonCrawl Android Version

First off, the mechanics of the game seem awesome and I'd genuinely love to play more. However, game is non-functional in its current state - after closing and reopenong the menu does not have buttons so the game can't be played (I waited ~10 minutes in case it was just loading, but animations were working). I sincerely wish the best for the devs and may get the desktop version if it seems to work.

Originally reviewed 1 star when the game broke before, updated to 3 stars when that issue was fixed. Now I'm back to 1 star because the game once again is not functional. Most of the time the game never gets past the loading screen. If it does once I click play there's an error and the game crashes. Considering trying to get a refund for my purchase of the full game.

Normally I refuse to touch "Free to play" games, but this app gives you the main game with no strings attached. You can pay a small amount to remove ads, or pay for the "full game" if you want more challenge. The controls were not well explained in the tutorial. Long pressing to reveal a cell should be rarely used. Double tap to mark a monster (bomb), and tap a number to open all the fields around it (assuming you have marked all the flags for that number). The mechanics are a little confusing at first, but once you figure the items/spells/omens out then the true depth of this game comes out. Such a great time killer that also helps work the brain!
