Devils and Thieves Solitaire Description
A two-deck solitaire game which combines game play of Canfield and Forty Thieves solitaire and makes for a challenging and engaging version of solitaire game.
At the beginning one card is dealt to the first foundation pile which acts as the lead rank for remaining foundation piles. 13 cards are dealt face-down to a reserve pile and top card is the reserve is turned face up.
Tableau piles are divided in two parts. First part consisting first 4 tableau piles are dealt one card each face-up. Second part consisting remaining 5 tableau piles are dealt 8 cards each face-up. In first part, cards are played in descending order, alternate colors wrapping from Ace to King if required. In second part, cards are played in descending order by suit wrapping from Ace to King if required.
Remaining cards are set aside and form a stock pile. A card can be dealt any time from stock to the waste.
Foundation piles are built up by suit starting from the lead rank to the rank one below the lead rank, wrapping from King to Ace if required. The game is won once all cards are moved to the foundation.
