Dream Mapping Description
“Dream Mapping”, an augmented reality digital art installation, explores the mapping of dreams. What would the topography of a dream landscape look like? What types of flora and fauna populate the natural environment here? What types of architecture are found in such kingdoms?
During a journey combining art and new technologies, the digital art agency Artpoint highlights eight women and non-binary artists, pushing their creative limits to present a sensitive and feminine vision of speculative and futuristic worlds, yet very dreamlike.
Each artist uses digital tools to create dream worlds and present new fantastic universes. Surreal and almost speculative worlds for some - a utopian vision of our world hundreds of years in the future. Fully digital kingdoms for others. From the most hyperrealistic to the most metaversal, the exhibition traces a journey immersing the viewer in increasingly technological worlds.
Created in partnership with the Reaali company which developed the application, this exhibition invites the viewer to wander from world to world. The magic happens using your phone since all the works on the tour will come to life thanks to an augmented reality experience. By hovering the Reaali app's camera over the large-scale prints, the artworks come to life inside the screen, allowing viewers to experience and delve deeper into these fantastical worlds. an even deeper level.
