Application of Dhikr to open sustenance
The Virtue of Dhikr (Remembering Allah) in Every Circumstance
Allah Ta’ala says,
اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إ ِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِك اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ
“Read what has been revealed to you, namely the Book (Al-Qur'an). And establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prevents fahisyah (vile) and evil deeds. And indeed, dhikrullah (remembering Allah) is greater (its priority over other acts of worship). And Allah knows what you do." (QS. Al-'Ankabut: 45)
(Among the benefits of knowledge in the verse above include) that regularly reciting remembrance of Allah in every situation is the most important practice. It is perfect by itself, and other (worship) would not be perfect without it.
Sharia of Morning and Evening Dhikr
It should be noted that among the dhikr and prayers that are prescribed for a Muslim during the day and night are morning and evening dhikr, in fact this type of dhikr is the dhikr that is tied to time which is most often mentioned in the propositions, whether the context of the proposition encourages a Muslim to say it. and the context mentions the various types of dhikr that are said at these two main times (morning and evening).
Allah Ta’ala says,
وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
"And glorify Him in the morning and evening."
on behalf of مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيم ًا
“It is He who gives mercy to you and His angels (asks for forgiveness for you), so that He brings you out of darkness into light (brightness). And He is Most Merciful to those who believe” (QS. Al-Ahzab: 42-43). The meaning of Al-Ashiil in this great verse is the time between Ashar and before sunset.
God willing َبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ
"So be patient, for indeed Allah's promise is true, and ask forgiveness for your sins and glorify yourself while praising your Lord in the evening and morning" (QS. Ghafir: 55).
The meaning of Al-Ibkaar in this great verse is the beginning of the day (morning), while the meaning of Al-'Asiyiyy is the end of the day (evening).
فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدَ God willing
"So be patient with what they say and exalt while praising your Lord before the sun rises and before (its) sunset" (QS. Qaf: 39).
فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهْ
"So glorify Allah when you are in the evening and when you are in the morning" (QS. Ar-Rum:17).
