e-bhavishya facilitates individual donations of old electronic devices (smartphones, laptops, tablets, desktops) that are no longer being used or are considered e-waste. Donated devices that are functioning or can be utilized with minimal repairs are offered on the app for purchase by school or college students at a very nominal price that covers repair and transport costs only. Devices that cannot be utilized are sent to a sustainable e-waste recycling facility. e-bhavishya’s mission is to bridge the digital divide in education by giving access to students from lower income households access to an e-learning device.
