The e-tuner mobile application is an innovative electronic tuning fork, designed by Laurence Equilbey. It is intended for singers and composers, professionals, students and amateurs, in order to facilitate their practice.
The e-tuner was first manufactured in physical form in 2007 with 10,000 copies thanks to initial support from the Orange Foundation, e-tuner was sold in France, the United States and Canada.
The mobile version of the e-tuner, the development of which was also supported by the Orange Foundation, comes in the form of a transposable octave keyboard with the possibility of altering each note by 1/2, 1/4 or 1/3 tones. The reference LA is adjustable in frequency, memories are programmable in midi codes to get out of equal temperament. The e-tuner also offers a metronome function.
The tuning fork is of unparalleled precision while allowing real artistic and spatial freedom. The use is possible in direct sound or with an earphone.
This application developed in 3 languages French, English and German will be downloadable by everyone, from anywhere, and free.
