EMT Logger Description
EMT Logger is an app for recording date and time of various events that take place during typical EMS calls, by BLS Squads. The recording of date/time begins when a EMS crew is dispatched for a medical emergency and it ends when the crew is back to the quarters or available for subsequent calls.
When a new case is created in the app, users can record date/time for various events including Dispatched, Acknowledged, Enroute, At Scene, At Patient, Leave Referring, At Receiving, Pt Transferred and Available. In addition, there are events to record date/time of the vitals and custom events such as arrival of ALS units.
For each event, users can record date/time with a single click, and also add additional information such as mileage, vitals etc. There is a feature to record a voice memo for each event by clicking the microphone icon and speaking. Additional voice memos for a given event are appended to the initial voice memo, allowing EMTs to record event details progressively.
This app is the result of efforts put in by committed and hardworking volunteers of Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad (MJFAS) of New Jersey. MJFAS invites other BLS squads to freely use this app, if it servers their purpose.
