Escalate app Description
The Escalate app connects users, allowing them to stay safe while also getting more out of – and giving back to – their neighbourhoods and communities.
The app uses geo-location technology to enable users send and receive emergency alerts from close proximity, which instantly connects them to other users nearby. An SOS SMS is automatically generated and sent to user's emergency contacts alongside, all at the touch of a button. The app also gives users the opportunity to send/receive job requests and find local businesses within their communities in realtime. It also ensures that posts and comments are visible only to users within specific proximity radius - i.e. within a few meters or kilometres.
The app is accessible to use because of the built-in user interface with a map, which makes visualising your neighbourhoods and communicating with people in your community incredibly simple. You can search your local area for people according to their registered profession/business on the platform , such as “plumber”, "mechanic" or even "restaurants".
