Federação Paranaense de Truco Description
After 32 years of uninterrupted and developed activities in favor of sport and leisure among people from Paraná, starting with the first President, Osmir Miquelussi, we now have registered associations headquartered throughout the State of Paraná, including Cascavel, Toledo, Umuarama, Ponto Grossa, Santo Antonio da Platina, Siqueira Campos, Guarapuava, Irati, Ivai, Laranjeiras do Sul, Astorga and Ibaiti. In the State Capital, several associations were created exclusively for the practice of Truco, as well as this card sport was incorporated in the modalities of other clubs and associations of great esteem and value, among them the main ones are registered in the FPRT: Associação URBS – City Hall Municipality of Curitiba, ASSUFEPAR – Employees of the Federal University of Paraná, APCEF – Employees of Caixa Econômica, APTRU – Associação Paranaense de Truco, SÓ TRUCO, TRUKARIA, PRÓTRUCO BRASFORMA, Grupo CASAGRANDE, UPC - União da Policia Civil and ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASIL. Among the main clubs in Curitiba, CMC -Círculo Militar do Paraná, Santa Mônica and Três Marias are part of our Federation.
Inland we have great teams, including one of them, TOLEDÃO, the biggest champion in the state, today with six titles. Still inland we have great teams based in the important city of Ponta Grossa, they are: OPERÁRIO, OAK BEER, TRUCO PG, ARHT and AMIGOS DO TRUCO. In the city of Guarapuava we find the MITOS and MITOS OURO teams. This select group of teams includes LOS MAIKAS and IMBITRUCO from Imbituva, SERAPIÓ from Siqueira Campos, TOPATRUCO from Guaratuba, IVAÍ from Ivaí and IPITRUCO from the city of Ipiranga.

Truco in Paraná annually moves around 1000 people directly and 7000 indirectly among members of the federation, family members, media professionals, organizers and sponsors. If we raise the list to the internal events that take place every month in the associations, taking into account the disclosure they make in their own communication vehicles such as posters, newsletters, newspapers and magazines, social networks, we will have more than 65 thousand people who take part of the Truco cycle in our State. The social class involved in this sport is mostly upper middle, opinion makers and businessmen. between 18 and 65 years old, as we can see in the registration data of the players. The truco paranaense is considered one of the most exciting and well organized in the country, being a reference for other states, since the first edition of the event held in 2000. We have the support of several printed, television and radio media, which allows us to broadcast of numerous reports on events related to the Championship.
