Flight Log Calculator Description
Flight Log Calculator assists pilots in calculating their flight times or serves to control the calculated result.
The application is built up similar to a logbook - reduced to the time column:
At the top you find the carryover. It can be adjusted after starting the app for the first time or later, as well. Here you should enter the carryover of the current page of your logbook. As mentioned before the value can be edited at any time.
In the middle part of the screen the newly added time entries are displayed in format hh:mm. The times correspond to the times recorded on the current page of your logbook. The flight time for a time entry can be recorded - as well as the carryover - either as minutes or in hour-minute format (hh:mm). The application recognizes the format you've entered and, if necessary, converts it to the hour-minute format (hh:mm). The recorded times are visible and erasable until the completion of a logbook page.
In the lower part of the application, the total time resulting from the carryover and the time entries entered so far is being displayed. The total time is updated when the carryover is changed or when flight times are added or removed. The icon in the lower right corner of the application completes the capture of flight times - this corresponds to turning a logbook page and transfering the previous total time as the new carryover.
