Frantic Flipside Description
"Frantic Flipside: A Cat-astrophic Day" is a maddeningly challenging game set in the cursed realm of 'Catia'. The once-vibrant world now lies desolate due to the wrath of the Cat God, who forbids jumping or dashing. Defying this command flips the world and your character upside down, adding to the chaos. As a brave adventurer, you must navigate this topsy-turvy world, rescuing lost cats to break the curse. With your sanity at stake, find and feed these feline companions to restore balance and sanity to the perplexing and infuriating landscape.
The Beginning:
In the land of 'Catia', the once-blue skies have transformed into an ominous black, as the curse of the Cat God strips the world of its greenery, leaving behind a desolate and unnatural realm.
The Curse:
The curse compels all who enter this realm not to jump or dash... If you defy this decree, you will be thrown upside down, and the world will twist around you.
The End:
The Cat God's favour lies in the joy of its feline companions. Travel to these dark lands to locate the lost cats. Your task is twofold: find and feed them. Only then this curse can be broken!!
About the Game:
Initially built for the GDA Summer Split Jam to target the 'Infuriating' theme, along with having fun elements (cats?) in their not-so-natural habitat. Well, at least that was the goal. I really hope that was achieved!
This game will turn the world upside down on you (literally) and even if you clear it., well anyways... discover if it was worth it or not? (curious face)
