FS RemoteID Description
Mentalix’s FS Remote ID solution enables identity verification from a mobile
device, including contactless fingerprint capture and photo capture. Secure and encrypted transactions are sent to the agency server for matching
against local agency databases, state databases, and the FBI’s RISC (Repository for Individuals of Special Concern) database.
The FS Remote ID product by Mentalix, Inc. is independently developed and does not represent, affiliate with, or endorse any government entity. The app supports compliance with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. All Criminal Justice Information (CJI) handled by this solution is encrypted with AES 256-bit encryption, transmitted solely to the law enforcement agency’s server, and is not stored in the cloud or on the device. Usage of this product requires approval from the CJIS Systems Agency (CSA) for the respective state or territory.
