GA Pilot Description
GA - Pilot from General Aeronautics is an app which is designed for Drone Pilots. It helps the Pilots to Mark
and Spray pesticides on agricultural land.
Salient features of GA – Pilot:
1. Helps pilots to mark the boundary of the field most accurately
2. Can Mark the Obstacles (if any) within the boundary
3. Displays near real-time weather updates of the field area
4. Displays the Payload details like Droplet Size, Flow Rate and Dosage used per Liter / per second etc.
5. Gives the flexibility to the Pilot to adjust the clearance height of the drone from the ground while travelling to and fro from the launch location
6. Allows the pilot to manually check the preflight details like battery, Airframe, Payload details, Ground equipment details etc.
7. Few more Pre-flight details like Setting Flow Rate, Setting RTL Altitude, Setting droplet size etc. get checked automatically by the App
8. Easy-to-follow details like Flight Duration, Drone Speed, Height of the drone, drone’s direction, Payload i.e. the quantity of the pesticides to be carried by the drone
9. Pilot also has the preference of cancelling a planned mission may be for inconvenient weather condition
10. Distinct categorization of Upcoming, Completed and Cancelled missions
11. Easy monitoring of drone battery, and GPS Accuracy during the spraying mission
