GET Mobile ID (PP) Description
This version is restricted-access "Pre-Production" for internal employees, testers, and advocates. It will create only SAMPLE licenses with non-government data that will not be accepted as official ID, but provide a proof of concept that an Issuing Authority or Partner can use with any ISO 18013-5 reader.
GET Mobile ID provides a high-assurance digital identity such as a mobile driver's license (mDL) or mobile ID (mID) on a user’s mobile device. It represents a convenient, secure and instant alternative to traditional physical identification documents. GET Mobile ID utilizes the ISO 18013-5 communication standard and formidable data encryption algorithms and security measures to combat fraud and reduce identity theft while improving citizen privacy.
