Nightingale Description
TVSA (Triage and Vital Signs App) is a mobile software application to be used by the FRs. This is the mobile app that will be used by the FR on the field and its main purpose is to visualize, manage, (temporarily) store and transmit the data it receives from the Digital Triage Tag and/or the vital Signs Earplug placed on a victim.
TVSA mobile app is developed by ICCS in the framework of the implementation of EU funded NIGHTINGALE project (Grant Agreement 101021957).
The project aims to optimise current procedures and methods and to enhance the operational capacities of emergency medical services and civil protection agencies in mass casualty incidents. NIGHTINGALE will offer intelligent, integrated, and interconnected tools and services. These technological solutions will be complemented with a commonly agreed operational framework that will be embedded seamlessly within the workflow.
The project will enhance pre-hospital life support and triage procedures in two distinct ways. One, by integrating training and validation approaches involving first responders in real-life scenarios. Two, by developing tools for challenging and complex environments.
