हनुमान चालीसा हनुमान जी की स्तुति में एक भक्ति भजन (स्तोत्र) है। यह तुलसीदास द्वारा अवधी भाषा में लिखा गया था, और रामचरितमानस के अलावा उनका सबसे प्रसिद्ध पाठ है। "चालीसा" शब्द "चालिस" से लिया गया है, जिसका अर्थ हिंदी में संख्या चालीस है, क्योंकि हनुमान चालीसा में 40 छंद हैं। हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ प्रतिदिन लाखों लोगों द्वारा किया जाता है, और अधिकांश लोग इसे कंठस्थ करते हैं। लेकिन हर दोहे और चौपाई का मतलब जानना भी जरूरी है।
