Hotel Laundry Service Description
This app allows hotel employees to document the receipt of guests’ laundry for washing/cleaning as well as the subsequent return of laundry to the guest.
The current processing status of the order is also detected and tracked.
The guest can confirm the order and later receipt of the clean laundry on a smartphone or tablet.
This ensures that order details, costs incurred and the subsequent delivery of clean laundry are clearly documented.
All involved hotel laundry staff members have access to the order data at all times and can, for example, see which order has which status.
Laundry service orders are logged with a smartphone or tablet, for example, when laundry collection takes place in a hotel room.
For stationary laundry collection/delivery, the processes is logged with a standard PC with an Internet connection. Special software is not required.

A) Order entry:
Header data input per order
▶ guest name
▶ guest room number
▶ laundry bag serial number
▶ agreed pick-up time (date and time)
▶ special information about the guest’s order
▶ electronic signature of the guest (placing of order)
▶ automatic registration of order receipt date and time
▶ logging of current user
▶ automatic recording of the order number
▶ automatic display of order status: laundry waiting to be forwarded to the service provider
Logging of any number of pieces of laundry per order
▶ type of washing: regular washing or dry-cleaning
▶ quantity
▶ type of garment (from a predefined table)
▶ price (can be overwritten automatically from a predefined table)
B) Updating the order status
Bring up a record by selecting the room number and subsequent order. Get more information about orders that have not yet been completed.
The following is registered:
▶ new order status: laundry has been forwarded to the service provider or laundry has been returned by the service provider
▶ logging of current user
▶ automatic registration of the date and time of the collection process
C)Delivery of clean laundry to the hotel guest
Bring up a record by selecting the room number and order. Get more information about orders that have not yet been completed.
The following is registered:
▶ remarks (i.e. complaints)
▶ electronic signature of the guest
▶ recording of the logged-in user
▶ logging of current user
▶ automatic registration of the date and time of the collection process
▶ automatic registration of new order status: laundry has been returned to the hotel guest
