HRP Description
"Haute Randonnée Pyrénéenne" (HRP) es una ruta de larga distancia que cruza los Pirineos franceses y españoles. La ruta va desde el océano Atlántico hasta el mar Mediterráneo y cruza toda la cordillera de los Pirineos.
The route is not marked as such as it alternates between the GR10, on the French side, and the GR11, on the Spanish side, always trying to follow the highest part of the mountain range.
There are mountain refuges along the route but it does not pass through many villages, which makes it necessary to have complete autonomy when it comes to making it and to carry a tent.
Of the three routes that cross the Pyrenees (GR10, GR11 and HRP) is the most demanding from a logistical point of view as it passes through fewer towns and will force in some stretches to take food for several days.
"Digital Hiking Guide" is the proposal of **HIKEORAMA** as an assistant in long distance routes.
It includes in a single application all the necessary information in your routes. Maps, meteorology and information of all the points that you will find along the way. All this presented in the most accessible possible way.
It will allow you to position yourself on the route and will help you to take better decisions.
