IEF Description
The Itinerary of Education in Faith (IEF) is a “global educational process, according to the logic of Christian Initiation, which, taking into account the reality of the human being in its entirety, guides and accompanies the adolescent and the young on the way towards Christian maturation in today's world ”.
This itinerary, which follows the main lines of the common itinerary for all Salesian houses in Spain. Our itinerary therefore wants to be a route or path that we propose to children and adolescents who have already received their first communion to build their own person by placing the center on the human, social and spiritual reality of each one of them.
The fundamental objectives that we propose in this itinerary revolve around being, knowing, living together and doing. We want faith groups to contribute to the personal and integral maturation of the participants, so that they can develop their own identity and grow in interior life and in Christian living. For this reason we want the groups to contribute so that each participant who travels the itinerary will be able to give a reason for their own Faith, that they will learn to live in society, to relate responsibly with others and to feel part of a Christian community of reference. That they develop the capacity to serve others based on their own personal capacities. May they be able to cultivate inner strength, learning to live being authentic listeners of the Word of God.
