Comments about Imaging Edge Mobile Android Version

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The old version of the app worked fine. Now I have to allow the app access to my location for it to even open to transfer photos to my phone or computer. My location is none of Sony,'s business and is certainly not necessary to transfer files by NFC, bluetooth, or wifi. Thanks for a worthless product Sony!
Tip: Disable VPNs on your phone, including DNS filtering! Amending my review because WOW, good support on Sony's side for a weird edge-case bug I was experiencing. The app would crash when I rotated my screen on an Xperia 1 III. I had direct email and phone correspondence with a US-based support contact. Eventually, we discovered it would only happen if the screen size was set to small, and three-button navigation was enabled. Once we found the bug, they resolved it very quickly.
No longer supported by Sony. Very buggy. Eventually Sony will migrate to the Creator App but my camera, ZV-E10 is not on the list so their website says to keep using this app. I have to do a fresh connection every time I want to remote control my camera. Very annoying. The location via Bluetooth will not connect even though the camera says my BT is connected. Sony, why drop support while you require users to still use this app for remote control on some of your cameras? Makes no sense.
