Rāmāyaṇa: Book 1 - Bālakāṇḍa Description
Ramayana - Balakanda is a kinetic novel based on the great Indian ancient epic Ramayana written by Sage Valmiki.
The story starts with the birth of one of the most celebrated deities in India, Sri Ram who is an avatar of the supreme Bhagawan Sri Vishnu, and goes on to illustrate his travels with his brother Lakshman and his Guru Vishwamitra who keeps them enchanted with several stories along their journey.
To make reading simpler we have added an option to set a preferred transliteration scheme for names of places and people and various other traditional terms. Presently we support the following schemes:
