Ink Football Description
The game "Ink Football" is intended for training and recovery of disorders of binocular (including stereoscopic) and monocular vision (with strabismus and amblyopia), prevention of these disorders in healthy people, as well as an educational game to stimulate sensory-motor mechanisms and improve coordination and logical thinking in children of preschool and school age.
The principle of the therapeutic effect of the product is based on the separation of the fields of vision with colored glasses-light filters. The object of observation is presented as a dynamic game situation (game) on the monitor screen. The colors of the game objects correspond to the colors of the glasses' filters, while objects visible to one eye are invisible to the other. Therefore, the solution of the game problem is possible only with the simultaneous discrimination of all objects of the game, which includes both eyes of the player in the game process, training and restoring binocular vision disorders and increasing visual acuity in amblyopia. Additional stimulation of the visual analyzer is achieved by flickering the objects of the game with the optimal frequency. The sound accompaniment of the game, as well as the use of the device's sensor, include additional motor-sensory functionality of the patient in the training process, increasing the effectiveness of the exercise methodology.
In the treatment of amblyopia, glasses-light filters are not needed. If necessary, the patient uses glasses that correct existing refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism). In this case, the well-seeing eye should be closed (direct permanent occlusion) for the entire period of treatment. The increase in visual acuity is controlled by an ophthalmologist observing the patient. Upon reaching visual acuity sufficient for training binocular vision (a patient wearing light filter glasses must distinguish all the objects of the game with each eye), with a symmetrical eye position, light filter glasses are used, both eyes are open. The existing difference in visual acuity is leveled by the method of "penalization" or "fogging" (appointed by an ophthalmologist).
Attention:
The recommended time for one game session for preschool children (3-6 years old) is no more than 10 minutes, for schoolchildren and adults no more than 15 minutes.
Contraindications:
There are no absolute contraindications.
A relative contraindication to the use of the product is the presence of malignant diseases and epilepsy in the patient.
