Gameland Description
The "Gameland" app was developed within the Erasmus+ project Gameland - "Gamification Assets for Multisensorial Educational Tools in Language Learning using co-creation for addressing Needs and Desires of students". It is a smartphone application compatible with the Android operating system and equipped with an NFC reader. The Gameland application, via smartphone and NFC technology, allows users to play 12 different scenarios, each about a different occupational field. It allows users to train their specific vocabulary in 6 languages: English, French, Italian, Polish, Turkish and Ukrainian in a simple and interactive way. Each scenario is designed to introduce the user to a different work context. Using a simple smartphone and the interactive maps, users can discover new jobs and new words related to them, in this way, they can increase their language skills in specific work areas. This makes the Gameland app particularly useful for foreign students and workers who wish to acquire specific vocabulary in the host country's language. The app aims to improve language skills in a simple and engaging way. The app is accompanied by some additional materials necessary for the correct running of the scenarios, which can be downloaded from the Gameland project website 'https://gamelandproject.eu/', in the Gamelad app section in the 'project results'
