It's Not Chess. It's Better! Description
Use chess moves to combine your pieces as you play.
Move a Queen onto a Knight's square.
The combined Queen /Knight (Quight) can move as either the Queen or the Knight.
OR
Split the combined piece.
Move the Knight away from the Queen and you have your 2 original pieces again.
* All New Moves. All New Strategies.
* More Risk. More Reward.
* Combine pieces using traditional chess moves.
* Move Combined pieces as either piece.
* Split Combined pieces.
* Combined pieces can Promote for extra Queens.
* If taken you lose both the regular Chess pieces.
How To Play:
1. Combine pieces of the same colour using traditional moves.
e.g. Move your Bishop onto the Pawn using the traditional movement of the Bishop. Congratulations! You have just created a Combined piece (Bishop + Pawn).
2. Move Your Combined Piece As Either Piece:
e.g. The Combined Bishop + Pawn can move as a Bishop or a Pawn. A Double Attack.
3. Split Your Combined Piece:
e.g. Move the Bishop away and leave the Pawn, or move the Pawn away and leave the Bishop. Attack & Defend at the same time!
4. Promote Your Combined Piece (containing a pawn)
e.g. Move the Bishop + Pawn to the far side of the board and your Combined piece promotes to a Queen. Or stop at the 7th rank, Split and move the Pawn forward to promote, keeping the Bishop. That's Smart!
5. Look Out! If You Lose The Combined Piece You Lose 2 Regular Pieces.
e.g. If someone takes your Combined Bishop + Pawn you lose the Bishop and the Pawn. Better Look Out!
For A Super Piece: Combine the Queen with the Knight and you have a Super Piece. You can move as the Queen or the Knight. Can you Checkmate with this Combined piece? Watch Out Though - You know what happens if this piece is taken - You lose both the Queen and the Knight.
Can't Work Out How to Checkmate Your Opponent?
That's okay, now you can build your forces by promoting extra Queens. Then attack your opponent. It's Easier than Chess!
That's right! Pieces are no longer trapped. You can always move somewhere, unless you are the King.
Exponentially more moves and new strategies. Chessplus It's Not chess. It's BETTER!
