We made Ketchup because we hated being slaves to our calendar. The constant requests for time on our calendars, such as "Can I get 15 mins on your calendar, when you are free?" or “Can you let me know some free slots on your calendar?” were becoming frustrating. While some of these requests require formal video conferences with screen sharing, others could be handled on-the-go with just an audio call. We realized that not all calls need to be scheduled, so we set out to create a workflow that would make such calls easier.
