Lake District Navigation Description
The app curates and combines hundreds of miles of walking and cycling routes, alongside bus and driving options, to help users make informed choices on their travels within the Lake District National Park. By comparing and contrasting various methods of transport, user can decide what is important to them when they travel.
The app feature dozens of hand-crafted walking routes, pulling from the Lake District rich network of long-distance trails, cycle routes and paths. Many points-of-interest, landmark and natural features are presented to help users find interesting days out in the lake district.
This is part of a larger project aiming to encourage sustainable transportation within the Lake District National Park through gamification.
