About this app
The city of Lohmar presents the first version of the Lohmar App, the official app for Lohmar. The Lohmar app offers a wide range of current information and services about the city of Lohmar centrally in one app.

With the app you can…
Appointments can be booked with the city administration for various concerns with the city administration and damage or contamination can be reported quickly via the defect reporter. Various links are available to the offers of the city administration, such as the council information system, the Netz.Werk.Stadt., active hiking in Lohmar or direct contact with the administration.
A large number of offers are available in Lohmar via "Interesting Places". The blue pins show exactly where the bus stops are, where there is car and bike sharing in Lohmar, where there are glass and used clothing containers, where there are which sports facilities, or or or... the map can show all of this .
The current weather in Lohmar is shown for three locations. The weather display receives live data from three Lohmar-based weather sensors.
The "Press - News from Lohmar" module keeps you up to date and always shows the current press releases in a convenient format.
The "Services" module provides a large selection of the offers available in Lohmar. Among other things, a module for "waste management" shows the collection dates of RSAG for a specific place of residence (street) and, if desired, push messages can be used to remind people to put out the garbage cans. Leisure time tips are available in the event module. It provides information about current events in Lohmar and enables navigation to the destination. Car-Sharing, VHS and CoWorking are also available here as links.
The city of Lohmar attaches particular importance to data protection. The app is being developed as open source software together with other cities. The data remain with the city and are not passed on to third parties.
The city is constantly expanding the content and functionality of this app. In doing so, the city is guided by suggestions and suggestions from Lohmar's citizens. New ideas, suggestions and feedback on the current version can be sent to: digital@lohmar.de.
