The game of Macau is a fairly popular interactive card game that has no "official" rules, because there is no such federation or authority that can formalize the rules. That is why there are several rules or variations of the game.
All 54 cards in the deck are used, including the black and red Jokers.
Macau is an individual game and cannot be played in pairs
The number of players is a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4, so that after the cards are dealt, a reasonable number of them remain, in order to be able to play the game.
The winner is the first to run out of cards. When two, three or four people play, the last player with cards left in their hand loses the game. When five or six people are playing, the game is stopped when the third man finishes the game.
After the cards are shuffled, each player receives 5-10 of them, then the next card in the deck is turned face up, and the rest of the cards are placed face down on the table. The flipped card must have no special function.
The starting player must add a card of the same suit (eg red heart over red heart, club over club, etc.) or the same value (number)/figure as the one turned over on the table. In order, the other players may offer cards of the same sign or value (number)/figure as the previous player. If a player has more than one card of the same suit or value (number)/shape, he can collect them (all or only some of them) and put them all in the bottom pile in one turn if he has a card among the 3 of the same sign, color or value (number)/figure as the last one from below. (it is said that it is played "on packs" or "doubles").
If that player cannot or does not want to put any card he will draw one from the pile of remaining cards (if it is of the same sign or value (number)/figure as the one previously put, he can put it directly on the table) and it is passed to the next player. The remaining cards can be dealt in any order. If there are no more face down cards in the draw pile, then the last card laid down by a player is set aside and the other cards are turned face down after being reshuffled. This is the new stack for drawing cards.
When a player is left with only one card in his hand, he must necessarily say "Macao" because otherwise if someone else says "Macao" in his place, he is forced to "inflate" (draw) 5 cards.
If one of the players placed a card with a special function (2, 3, 4, Joker, K or A times more cards of the same value) then the next player will execute the instructions of this special card.
