The Association for Communication Maceita has been legally constituted since 1996, it has a board of directors where the different organized groups of the community, the productive sector, community boards, educational institutions, health, culture, sports, vulnerable groups, mayor's office and parish. The community radio station Maceo Stereo has its operating license from the Ministry of Technologies and Information (MINTIC), since that time it has been developing a community communication project with different public and private entities.
