The Maypole Games app is the new home for Stick and Split, our acclaimed game. Deceptively simple, what makes it so special is while they are playing it, children learn and practise their times tables, perhaps without even realising it.
To start using the free Maypole Games app, you will need a subscription from our website. You can also buy Stick and Split as a standalone app.

The problem with this approach is it aims to get children to answer with the minimum of thought. So it’s no wonder children have to answer them thousands of times before they remember the answers.
