MendriX Mobile Cross Dock Description
Get insight between the first and last mile and what happens at the depot.
The core of MendriX TMS is registering, planning and invoicing orders: the order-to-cash process. If we zoom in on planning and execution, there are various registration moments where progress and deviations can be recorded. The MendriX Mobile Driver app contains solutions for this:
Think of scanning goods during loading, packaging registrations and signing when unloading. However, this only includes the first and last mile, which means that insight into an important link in the logistics process may be missing. Especially if shipments are not delivered directly after loading, for example in the case of distribution.
This is where MendriX Mobile Cross Dock comes in. With the Cross Dock app, shipments can be registered for various actions such as entry or movements at the depot. This is done by scanning barcodes with a laser scanner, camera scanner or manual input. In the TMS, a question path can be set for each type of registration, with which additional information such as packaging registration or dimensions can be requested. Information can also be displayed about the exit trip, such as zip code and driver.
