Faith in Jesus Christ is trusting in Him and His infinite power, intelligence, and love. It also means believing in His teachings and trusting that even though we don't understand everything, He does.
Faith in Jesus Christ also means recognizing the truth in all that God has revealed in His Word. By placing our faith in Jesus Christ, we become His obedient disciples.
Faith in Jesus Christ gives us joy, hope and confidence, as well as “the strength to sustain us in every important moment of our lives.”
Faith is obtained and increased through personal obedience and righteous deeds. We can nourish our faith when we read and meditate on the scriptures, when we pray, fast, and serve the Lord, when we support Church leaders, and when we obey God's commandments.
