🚩 Minesweeper is a puzzle game whose aim is to locate mines hidden in a grid representing a virtual minefield, with the only indication being the number of mines in adjacent areas.
💣 Each square on the grid can either hide a mine or be empty. The goal of the game is to discover all the free squares without detonating the mines, that is to say without clicking on the squares which hide them.
When the player clicks on a free square containing at least one mine in one of its neighboring squares, a number appears, indicating this number of mines. If, on the other hand, all adjacent boxes are empty, an empty box is displayed and the same operation is repeated on these boxes, until the empty area is entirely delimited by numbers. By comparing the different information collected, the player can progress in mine clearance. If he makes a mistake and clicks on a mine, he loses.
Boxes containing suspected mines can be flagged by clicking on the right mouse button — but this is by no means obligatory. You must be careful not to mark a healthy square with a flag, as this can be misleading; However, it is not as penalizing as discovering a mine.
