Œil pour Œil Description
An application to encourage reading and practicing images developed by Les Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles, the Institute for Photography and Orbe.
Les Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles and the Institut pour la Photographie des Hauts-de-France offer a fun application, free and accessible to all, to awaken people to reading and practicing photographic images.
It was designed for its first two chapters with photographers Charlotte Abramow and Matthieu Gafsou, in collaboration with the Orbe collective.
Œil pour Œil mobilizes the potential of digital tools to transmit the way in which these authors think and construct their images, and thus stimulate our creativity.
Guided by the words of the photographers, users discover the photographic universe of each artist before getting started with shooting. Charlotte Abramow guides us in the creation of staged portraits, while Matthieu Gafsou accompanies us in a sensory exploration of the environment to create a sensitive photograph of what surrounds us.
