Monster Overlay Description
Monster Overlay displays an overlay on the Monster Hunter Now game.
Monster Overlay IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY! It is very specifically intended for hard-core players who grind the season story over and over again. If your goal is to make it to Season Tier 999, Monster Overlay tries to help you with that goal. Other users may find some Monster Overlay features useful, too.
Features:
- 3 rows of chapter tasks (current, next, and next important) at the top of the screen.
- Buttons to move forward/backward in the tasks, hide the overlay, and start a timer (typically for 15-minute small gathering point respawns).
- Clock Warning that displays a few minutes before the hour changes, to warn about everything respawning soon.
- Battery Warning that displays if the phone battery gets too low.
- Tracker Warning that reminds to change the tracked monster.
- Touch Protector to protect against accidentable touches while farming small gathering points with the phone in pocket.
Monster Overlay needs two "dangerous permissions" to function:
- Display over other apps. This is the overlay permissions, required to be able to display the overlay on other apps.
- Usage access. This permission is required for Monster Overlay to be able to determine if Monster Hunter Now is active (and enable the overlay), or if any other app is active (and disable the overlay). Usage access information is not used for any other purpose, and it is never stored, transmitted or otherwise analyzed for any other purpose.
Note that you can use Monster Overlay without the Usage access permission. In that case, the overlay will stay on the screen all the time, regardless of the app you are using at the time, and you must use the Start/Stop buttons in Monster Overlay to manually control when you want it shown.
