Morabaraba Online Description
Morabaraba is a traditional two-player strategy board game popular in Southern Africa. The game is similar to twelve men's morris, a variation on the Roman board game nine men's morris.
Morabaraba is played on a special board with 24 cells connected with lines indicating valid movements.
The board is initially empty and each player has 12 men of his color 'in hand'. The players take turns to place their men on the board. After all men have been placed on the board the players can then move the men along the lines connecting the cells of the board. The aim is to create a 'mill': a row three men on any line drawn on the board. If a player forms a mill, they may remove (capture) one of the opponent's men from the board
The object of Morabaraba is to capture at least 10 opponent's men or to block all opponent's men completely.
