Over time, the University of Parma has built up an extraordinary museum heritage accessible to all. The collections that compose it, developed in parallel with teaching and university research, concern the various scientific, naturalistic and artistic fields.
The University Museum System is made up of all the structures responsible for the acquisition, conservation, management, valorisation and use of the collections and its purpose is the dissemination and promotion of culture and scientific knowledge.
The Museum conserves, studies and raises awareness: the exhibition itineraries are designed precisely to make the use of the museum more effective and accessible by a transversal audience of visitors and increasingly broader targets of "consumers" of the Museums.
The Museums offer guided tours for educational purposes for all schools of all levels.
