Let’s fall in Love! Description
In 1997 the psychologist Arthur Aron and his colleagues published on the “Personality and social Bulletin” an essay entitled “Experimental Generation of Interpersonal Closeness”. They wanted to discover if it was possible to create an artificial context, as a “laboratory”, where two strangers could built a deep friendship, or even a love relation, in less than an hour (45 minutes). They did a lot of experiments with some couples of strangers. This is what they did: the two volunteers were in an empty room, sitting one in front of the other, replying to 36 questions alternately. At the end of the questions, they had to look into each other’s eyes for 4 minutes.
This application gives to you the possibility to try Aron’s experiment. At the end, a lot of people fell in love and for many others their friendship became stronger. So…what’s happened to you?
