My Bhakti Path Description
Everything about human beings is defined by culture. Culture reflects values and ethics of persons, society, state and the country at large.
We have inherited an extremely rich and diverse culture over the centuries. It is important that this culture is passed on to the next generation in a manner which is easy to understand, available in a digital format and easily accessible on the go. My Bhakti Path is a small contribution towards preserving culture and passing it on to the next generation.
For individuals, the most important God is their Kul-devata and Gram-devata. Kul-devata is the ancestral native god and Gram-devata is the protector of the village. Every Kul-devata and Gram-devata have interesting stories about their origins that have been passed on verbally from one generation to the other; but have rarely been documented. When next generation kids are introduced to these temples, they have varied questions that remain unanswered since unfortunately there are no scripts (documents) that can be used as reference material. My Bhakti Path is an honest attempt to preserve all these stories so that the old generation can pass on this knowledge about temples, shlokas and all other related information.
Shlokas also have a lot of significance in our culture. Most of them are in Sanskrit. However, saints from different parts of our country have also introduces shlokas in their respective languages. My Bhakti Path also aims to preserve this vast variety of shlokas in their respective languages.
My Bhakti Path aims to connect devotees to their nearby & village temples and bring back old glory where temples were a core and integral part of our ecosystem.
