After countless hours of frustration, I managed to setup my MC6 thermostat. These are the steps: 1. Make sure you are connected to the 2.4G wifi that you want to connect the thermostat to. 2. Create an account or login with the one you created 3. If a location is already set, delete it and create a new one 4. Make sure Away from home is set to OFF 5. Click Add -> Heating thermostat -> Select a location -> Smart config 6. SSID should be automatically filled in. If not try with an iPhone. Type your wifi password and click Connect. 7. In thermostat go to Settings -> Network settings -> Smart config 8. Cross your fingers and wait. If it's added to your list, wait a few minutes and it should become online 9. In Alexa add the MyHouse Pro skill, enter your credentials and click Discover devices. After a few seconds it should be discovered and added to your device list. You can now set temperature and on/off in routines. You cannot set to away mode or do any other setting using routines or voice commands. 10. If you manage to setup the device with the My comfort house app, you should be able to set to away etc, but thermostat is not displayed in devices and you cannot use it in routines. 11. Why does the app need access to my phone? Also, the selfie camera activates every time I open the app or make changes to the settings. When I disable those permissions, the app stops working. I would like those "features" removed please. When the app works, it works great so far.
