Sheikh Nimah Al-Hassan saw the light in 1969 in the city of Basra, located in southern Iraq. His primary education was at Al-Khalil Bin Ahmed Al-Farahidi School, followed by his secondary education at Al-Nidal School. After that, he continued his studies at the Preparatory School for Islamic Studies in Basra and Samarra, where he graduated from the College of Sharia in Baghdad. He obtained a Master's degree in Arts from the College of Arts at Basra University, specializing in Arabic Language, and is currently continuing his studies

Sheikh Nimah Al-Hassan began his role as an imam while studying in high school, and was officially appointed as the imam of Al-Hassanin Mosque in Basra in 1995. He also served as an imam in Tarawih prayers and qiyam at the Grand Mosque in Basra. In 2003, he moved to Al-Alban Mosque in Kuwait to lead Tarawih prayers there. He was then appointed as a permanent imam at the Sindh Mosque in the Kaifan area, in addition to performing prayers at the Uthman Mosque. Currently, he holds the position of imam at Abdul Aziz Al-Sanad Mosque and supervises memorization circles
