I like Nanit, especially the multiple users, and background audio function which I rely on at night to keep an ear out for my little one. However, I took off a star because it will update the camera at random and upon restart the audio doesn't go back to your settings. This meant the background audio was off and I didn't hear my baby crying. It's only happened twice but it's a flaw worth mentioning.

The video stream takes anywhere from a minute to 2 minutes to buffer before the app allows the stream to come through. Then, after waiting after all that time when the stream comes through, the stream only lasts from 10 to 15 seconds before it stops the stream again. It's not 1 star because it's helpful when I have to have it but don't expect much.

Can't rely on it. Had to buy an old radio monitor to pick up the slack. Wanted to love this product and when it works as it should it's great. But the feed cuts out, app is buggy, many features are paywalled...there are better solutions. Purely wifi based monitors will never be reliable enough, would suggest using a hybrid system with local radio + wifi enhancements.
