Narration (नेरे्छन्) -बिबुं:
Ways of conveying a message to another person is called a narration. It can be direct or indirect. (वेइस् अब कनभेयिं ए मेशे्ज टु अ्नादर् परसन् इज कल्द् ए नेरे्छन्. इट् केन बि डाइरेकत अर इनडाइरेकत) -सोरबा सासेनि बुंनाय बाथ्रा एबा रावखौ गुबुन सासेनो फोरमायनाय एबा बुंफोरनाय हुदाखौनो बिबुं होननानै बुंनाय जायो| बिबुंआ मोननै बाहागोनि- थोंजों आरो खेंस्ला|
Example (एक्समपल्) बिदिन्थि:
Direct (डाइरेकत) -थोंजों: -He said “We are learning English.” (हि सेइद्, “वि आर लारनिं इंलिस्”)
-बियो बुंदोंमोन, “जोङो इंराजि सोलोंगासिनो दङ|”
Indirect (इनडाइरेकत) -खेंस्ला: -He said that they were learning English (हि सेइद् देत् दे आर लारनिं इंलिस्) -बियो बुंदोंमोनदि बिसोरो इंराजि सोलोंगासिनो दङमोन|
Some rules: माखासे नेमफोर:
1. The object in the active sentence becomes a subject in the passive sentence | थोंजों गारांनि मावजाग्राया (object) खेंस्ला गारांआव मावग्रायाव (subject) सोलायो|
गोजौनि बिदिन्थिआव गोथों गारांआव ‘English’ आ मावजाग्रा आरो बेयो खेंस्ला गारांआव सिगाङाव जनानै मावग्रा (subject) जादों
2. The verb is changed to “be” verb + past participle | थोंजों गारांनि थाइजाया (verb) खेंस्ला गारांआव “be” verb दाजाबदेरो आरो जाखां महराव (past participle) सोलायो|
गोजौनि बिदिन्थिआव गोथों गारांनि “learn” आ खेंस्ला गारांआव “is learnt” आव सोलायदों|
3. The subject in the active sentence comes after “by” or in some case not | थोंजों गारांनि मावग्राया (subject) खेंस्ला गारांआव “by” नि उनावहाय जिरायो|
नाथायनि गासैबो रोखोमनि बाथ्रायावनो जिराया|
