Comments about NASA Android Version

Ever since the big UI upgrade (or, rather, downgrade) 2 or 3 months ago, the NASA app has been a pain-in-the-butt to use. It's a 'fuster-cluck' mess. 1.)What happened to the ISS sightings location info? I hasn't worked since the overhaul! 2.)The NASA home page is a jumbled mess. Looks like 'page designers' just added every image they had to the page(s), and hoped it all fit. 3.)Viewing a video takes at least 3 to 5 clicks before finally being able to actually watch the program. App is a mess.
I'm honestly surprised at how smooth the app runs, how easy it is to navigate around, and how good it looks. I like to keep up with new technologies and enjoy good photos, which previously I used the nasa gov website for, and this app has really taken that baton and run with it. Very well done. I see other reviews mentioning the video player - I have not used this for more than the livestream for the Bennu sample collection, so I honestly can't speak to that.
I hate to give this a negative review, but the NASA+ experience is really bad on mobile. The content is BRILLIANT, but the way it's presented is unusable. Instead of a native video player, they've made a window to display the desktop browser player, but the video res is bigger and wider than the window, so a good part of the image and access to the controls is cut off. Worse, there is no way to watch full screen and no Android TV support. 🙁 I'd easily give this 5 stars if they can fix all that.

NASA APK FAQ

Is NASA safe for my device?

Open up
Yes, NASA follows the Google Play content guidelines to ensure safe use on your Android device.

What is an XAPK file, and what should I do if the NASA I downloaded is an XAPK file?

Open up
A file with .xapk extension is a compressed package file. It is a container file format that incorporates APK and additional associated files required for the installation. The XAPK format was introduced to package the APK file and OBB file together for a seamless delivery and installation process. XAPK format can help reduce the package size of application. On mobile phones, users need to install the XAPK installer first, and then install XAPK files through that installer. You can find the installer here:https://apkcombo.com/how-to-install/. But on PC client, you just need to put the file on LDPlayer.

Can I play NASA on my computer?

Open up
Yes, you can play NASA on your computer by installing LDPlayer, an Android emulator. After installing LDPlayer, simply drag and drop the downloaded APK file into the emulator to start playing NASA on PC. Alternatively, you can open the emulator, search for the game or app you want to play, and install it from there.
